Who are we?
COMED Association
COMED is a Swiss firm founded in 2022 and headquartered in Sierre, Switzerland. Its creation follows on from work carried out since 2011 in close collaboration with the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and dedicated to research projects in the field of transport and the environment in Cuba in particular.
COMED therefore pursues this mission in emerging countries, helping to develop and monitor projects in collaboration with municipal, ministerial and even academic institutions.
COMED’s aim is to successfully implement concerted transport and energy strategies, always with a view to reducing environmental impact.
COMED’s objectives are to :
- Enable and support the implementation of projects, mainly in urban areas
- To bring together and coordinate the contributions of Swiss and foreign players from the scientific, political and industrial spheres who are involved or wish to become involved in development cooperation that preserves natural resources and the environment.
- Contribute to the search for technical solutions compatible with the financial resources of developing countries and get involved in fund-raising to carry out the projects in which it is involved.
- Act with complete transparency by regularly informing the entities with which it collaborates
