Art. 4 Aims
The ” Association de coopération pour la mobilité et l’énergie durables ” (COMED) aims to contribute to the definition of strategies for the implementation of projects concerning sustainable mobility and energy, the reduction of climate impact, and to monitor the implementation of such projects. It acts primarily in collaboration with local authorities or other cooperation organizations.
More specifically, COMED’s aims are as follows:
- Contribute to the implementation of mobility, energy and environmental management projects in countries with which COMED is likely to collaborate.
- Bringing together and coordinating contributions from Swiss and foreign players representing academic, political and industrial entities active in development cooperation and support.
- Raise funds or mobilize resources to carry out projects it leads or is associated with
- Regularly and comprehensively inform economic, scientific, industrial and other partners who contribute to the projects it runs or to which it is associated.
Art. 7 Resources
COMED’s resources come from ;
- Financial contributions from essentially public or private entities that support projects implemented or to be implemented within the framework of the association.
- Proceeds from industrial or economic activities managed or co-managed by COMED in accordance with Article 4 of the Articles of Association.
- Membership fees, if the General Assembly decides to use this method of financing
- Donations, bequests or other sources of income
Art. 13 Bodies
The bodies of the ” Association de coopération pour la mobilité et l’énergie durables ” (COMED) are as follows:
- The general assembly
- The Association Board
- The financial control body
- Optionally, a foreign official body, depending on the content of the projects
